Born in Nova Pádua, in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul State, Cristiane Marcante has found her inspiration and passion for Art in the multiple colors of the countryside. Dedicated to her dream, the instruments that helped her create art were color pencil, crayons, gouache and Indian ink, often displayed in numerous and unusual surfaces, from paintings to truck bodies. Owner of singular and original lines, her current works display intense colors, very typical of this self-taught artist whose aim is to color the world.

Theory, technique, practice and strong passion for art have turned this girl into an artist, with her own unique style. Very well known nationally and internationally, she depicts in her works her intense joy of living.

"... I was particularly impressed with her deep figurative painting, which resonates with a strong emotional and visual narrative. " (Ruthie Tucker, curator of the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, New York).
